Black Ruby Barb

Bring vibrant color and energetic movement to your freshwater aquarium with the Black Ruby Barb (Pethia nigrofasciata). Males showcase an intense crimson-red head and chest with a deep velvet-black body and patterned fins, especially when displaying in well-planted setups. Peaceful, hardy, and active, they thrive in groups of six or more and make fantastic additions to peaceful community aquariums.
